Our Food Philosophy

It should be simple, it should be real

We have a very basic approach to cooking: do it like you were making it for your own family. When I started this restaurant I'd never worked in a commercial kitchen before, so I didn't know about all the shortcuts you're supposed to take to increase profits.

The result was that we didn't take any. I often bake quiches in my oven at home and bring them in to be served to our customers.

We might not give you the latest techniques from a culinary institute, but we prepare our dishes the only way we know how - by hand.

All of our dishes are created with real ingredients, nothing canned.

We have raw produce delivered everyday, that is prepared by our cooks in the morning. We hope that you can taste the difference, and it is certainly healthier for you.
